Q: What is a ProSeries Repair and what does it include?
A: The ProSeries Repair program is designed to provide FoxJet customers low total cost of ownership, while maintaining optimum print quality.
The ProSeries Repair includes:
- Complete printhead tear down and cleaning
- Standard replacement of over 40 ink system components
- Print Engine is cleaned and tested to ensure that it is functioning to our OEM specifications
- The completed printhead is run through a 12 point quality and testing process to insure performance meets factory specifications
- Carefully packaged in new OEM packaging with test print samples taken from the repaired printhead
- Typical 48-72hr turnaround
Q: Can all ProSeries printheads be repaired? This one looks pretty bad.
A: Not all printheads sent in for evaluation may be a candidate for the Repair service. We will evaluate the printhead and if we cannot successfully bring the printhead to OEM standards, then the printhead falls in the non-repairable category and there are two options available:
A $175 evaluation fee will be assessed and we will return the printhead to you. Fee is waived if repaired or replaced.
Abbott Company will provide a 10% discount allowance towards a new FoxJet NetSeries system.
Q: What FoxJet equipment can be sent in for Flat Rate Repair?
A: FoxJet Elite/Matrix controllers, ProSeries 384/384e and 768/768e printheads, VxJet series and Solo equipment are eligible. Please contact our service department for specific pricing.
